Job Description:
As the EYFS SEND HLTA, you will be working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage who have complex needs. Your role will involve supporting the class teacher, delivering tailored interventions, and helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. You will work closely with the SENCO and other professionals to ensure that each child's individual needs are met.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with complex needs
  • Assisting in the planning and delivery of personalised learning activities
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress
  • Collaborating with teachers and external professionals to support the educational and emotional development of each child
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with complex SEND needs, ideally within an EYFS setting
  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
  • A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to helping children achieve their full potential
