ACR are partnered with a residential developer, assisting them in their search for aQualityManager to work alongside their Site Team on a new build residential project in North London.
Duties:
- Establishing and implementing QA policies, procedures, and standards that align with company best practices.
- QualityControl: Overseeing the execution ofqualitycontrol processes throughout the construction project lifecycle, including monitoring workmanship, materials, and compliance with specifications.
- QualityPlanning: Developingqualityplans for the project, including definingqualitycriteria, inspection and testing protocols, andqualityassurance checkpoints.
- Provide training and guidance to construction teams onqualityassurance processes, standards, and best practices to promote a culture ofqualityand continuous improvement.
- Risk Management: Identifying potentialqualityrisks and developing strategies to mitigate them, such as conducting risk assessments, implementing preventive measures, and addressing issues promptly.
- QualityInspections and Audits: Conducting regular inspections, audits, andqualityreviews of construction activities, processes, and deliverables to verify compliance withqualitystandards and contractual requirements.
- Document Control: Managing documentation related toqualityassurance activities, including maintaining records of inspections, test results, non-conformities, corrective actions, andqualityassurance reports.
- Non-Conformance Management: Investigating non-conformities, defects, andqualityissues, and leading efforts to implement corrective and preventive actions to address root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with projectmanagers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment onqualityobjectives, requirements, and expectations. Facilitating clear and effective communication regardingquality-related matters.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitoringqualityperformance metrics, analysing data trends, and identifying opportunities for process improvements andqualityenhancements across projects.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, standards, regulations, and industry certifications applicable to construction projects.
Required:
- Previous experience operating in a Quality Assurance / Quality Management role within Construction, working with a Reputable Developer / Main Contractor.
- Ability to produceQualityManagement Plans and enforce them.
- Highly experienced in ASite software.
