Academic Learning Mentor Fantastic Brent Secondary School Full Time, September Start
Clarus Education are working in partnership with the Head Teacher of a successful secondary school & sixth form in Brent, North West London. Together we are searching for a bright and switched on Academic Learning Mentor to start this September on a full time basis.
Your role as an Academic Learning Mentor will involve, but not be limited to, the following:
Covering classes for absent Teachers across the curriculum (KS3-KS5)
Delivering group booster sessions
Running interventions for students with SEN/ EAL
Assisting with lunchtime/ afterschool clubs
Being proactive, adaptable & flexible
Working independently as well as being part of the wider team
Efficient time management
We are keen to speak with confident & intelligent Graduates who are passionate about forging a career in education. The ideal Academic Learning Mentor will already have relevant previous experience to bring into this new role and will have an impressive academic background to fall back on as a foundation. The successfully appointed Academic Learning Mentor must be passionate about ensuring that all of their students are challenged academically and provided with the tools needed to excel in their studies.

September 2024-July 2025
£85-£100 per day + Premium Healthcare Package
Person Specification:
1st class/ 2:1 degree holders with A*-B grades at A Levels & GCSEs
Relevant previous child-related experience is advantageous
An effective communicator with excellent written & oral skills
Willing & able to manage challenging behaviour
Hardworking and committed to the needs of the role
