Info about what the Manufacturing Project Manager role entails


The primary focus of the Manufacturing Project Manager is to optimize the companys manufacturing processes, addressing challenges to meet short-, mid-, and long-term goals for the business. Additionally, the role will contribute to the company's vision of implementing top-tier operational and process improvements while maintaining consistent compliance across the organization. This position reports to the EMEA Head of Manufacturing and will work closely with the current Manufacturing Engineer Lead and Manufacturing Engineer.



Essential Requirements of a Manufacturing Project Manager


Ability to confidently present a structured, methodical approach to achieving results, with the capability to propose innovative solutions using data, analytics, and logical reasoning to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

BEng/MEng qualification, ideally in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering, with proven experience in project management.

Experience in the assembly and manufacturing process industry, along with strong proficiency in Lean Manufacturing techniques.

Ability to read and understand complex documents including board reporting, CAD drawings etc.

Strong experience with change management


Desirable Requirements of a Manufacturing Project Manager


Ability and understanding of machine programming

Skills in database management

Experience with MS Project
