Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to work in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in North-West London. The successful candidate will need to be available full-time and have experience supporting children and young adults with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.

Position: Behaviour MentorLocation: Brent, North West LondonPay: £90 - £125 per day (PAYE) depending on experienceStart Date: April 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEMH in small group and 1:1 settings.
  • Help manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours.
  • Provide emotional and academic support to students.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to implement behaviour management strategies.
  • Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback to senior staff.

  • A PRU is an alternative education provision for students who cannot attend mainstream schools due to behavioural, emotional, or mental health issues.
