Envision Education is looking for a Teaching Assistant for a Primary school in Brent to start as soon as possible!
This is a full time role, Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 4pm, where you will provide 1:1 support.
Prior experience working as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant would be preferable, but you must have experience working with children in some form of capacity (in the UK) where you can obtain a reference for this.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will possess the following:
- Being a talented, dedicated and highly motivated educator as a SEND Teaching Assistant
- Support children with emotional and behavioural difficulties to enable them to effectively access the curriculum
- Demonstrate high levels of care, concern and ambition for our children as a SEND Teaching Assistant
- A positive team player with a good sense of humor as a SEND Teaching Assistant
- Be committed to raising attainment and accelerating progress
- Support SEND students and delivering activities on a 1:1 and small group basis as a SEND Teaching Assistant
- Experience in assessing, evaluating, and reporting on pupil progress
Requirements:
- Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
- Recent experience working with children in a school or alternate environment is preferential, but you must have previous experience with children in some capacity in the UK
- Enjoy working with children and seeing them progress with their learning
- Already have or willing to apply for an enhanced DBS on the update service
- Either live in Brent or within a commutable distance
