Primary School Teaching Assistant

Are you seeking to support children with their learning development as a Primary School Teaching Assistant in the Brent area? Have previous experience working with children and love to support them?

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Teaching Assistant to work with a Year 3 student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and behavioural challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience working in primary education, specifically with Key Stage 2 students. This is a full time role Monday to Friday 08:00am to 4 pm.

The Role:

  • Support children on a 1:1 capacity and/or in small groups as a Primary School Teaching Assistant
  • Assist in children's early development and growth
  • Work alongside colleagues to help create a fun, safe and stimulating learning environment for pupils and staff as a Primary School Teaching Assistant
  • Support teacher with preparing classroom materials as a Primary School Teaching Assistant

Requirements:

  • Available to work 08:00am to 4pm, Monday to Friday
  • MUST HAVE UK based experience working as a Teaching Assistant
  • A Graduate is preferable but not essential
  • Passionate about working with children as a Primary School Teaching Assistant
  • Already have or willing to apply for a Child Only enhanced DBS
  • Either live in Brent or within a commutable distance
