Responsibilities of Defence Asset Controller:

  • Adhere to established procedures for receiving, inspecting, documenting, storing, issuing, and expediting all parts, materials, and equipment associated with GFE.
  • Oversee GFE assets, ensuring updates are completed within the required timeframe set by the customer.
  • Work closely with Programme Management and Commercial teams to define GFE requirements.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, quarantining assets where necessary.
  • Collaborate with MoD Project Teams and asset originators to address and resolve discrepancies.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders on all matters related to GFE.
  • Process and manage all incoming and outgoing documentation, maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
  • Supervise the GFE store, ensuring all movements are properly tracked.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to facilitate the prompt availability of critical assets.
  • Oversee annual stock checks and storeroom inventory audits, supporting customer reviews.
  • Complete and submit Quarterly D694 & Annual F32 Reports for the MoD within the specified deadlines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all GFE-related enquiries.
  • Carry out any additional duties relevant to the role as required.
