What will you do?
路Commission and contract manage multi-million-pound mechanical and electrical services, responsive repairs, maintenance, and planned refurbishment works.
路Ensure project outcomes related to feasibility, design, procurement, finance, cost control, and quality for repairs and maintenance services.
路Provide expert building surveying and technical advice to teams and stakeholders.
路Lead contract management processes, performance monitoring, and quality assurance for contractors and consultants.
路Deliver compliance with statutory approvals, including planning submissions and CDM health and safety regulations.
路Manage capital and revenue budgets, ensuring cost control and service delivery targets.
路Develop procurement strategies and outcome-based specifications to enhance service value.
路Undertake site inspections, valuations, and comprehensive surveys; produce maintenance schedules and cost estimates.
路Promote innovation in commissioning, procurement, and resource management to enhance efficiency.
路Engage in stakeholder and customer consultations, supporting service improvements and complaint resolutions.

To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate ALL the following on application and through the interview process:
路UK Resident
路MUST have minimum 3 years' experience of working in a local authority at a senior level within a mechanical and electrical team
路Comprehensive building maintenance technique knowledge
路Expertise in diagnosing building defects and specifying remedial measures.
路Familiarity with health and safety legislation, CDM regulations, and risk assessments.
路Strong project management, budget control, and procurement skills.
路Ability to manage diverse teams, including surveyors, engineers, and consultants.
