Job Description:As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students stay on task with pre-set work. This role is essential for maintaining continuity in students' learning and helping to create a positive learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering a career in teaching or looking to gain experience in a school setting.
Responsibilities:- Supervise classes across all subjects and age groups in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain engaged and on task.
- Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.
- Support students with any questions or clarification needed on the assigned work.
- Assist with any additional school-related activities as required.
- Previous experience in a similar role or experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively and handle behavior challenges confidently.
- A commitment to supporting students' academic and personal growth.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., degree or equivalent) are an advantage but not essential.
