About the Role:
As an English Teacher in Hackney, you will:
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in English Language and Literature, tailored to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.* Teach and inspire students across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to specialise in KS5 English if desired.* Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and effective communication skills in your students.* Contribute to the English department's success by collaborating on curriculum development and innovative teaching strategies.* Participate in extracurricular activities, such as book clubs, writing workshops, and school events, to enhance students' learning experiences beyond the classroom.* Education and training provided
Ideal Candidate, Brent, North West London:
* A qualified English Teacher (QTS preferred) with strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.* Experience in teaching a variety of English topics and the ability to engage students of all abilities.* Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment.* A commitment to professional development and a desire to contribute to the school community in Brent.* A proactive, collaborative attitude, ready to inspire students and support your colleagues.
