An Ofsted Outstanding School in Brent is searching for a Geography ECT / Geography Teacher to join their team in September. Unlike most schools, you won't be working alongside non-subject specialists in Geography. The school has managed to attract strong Geography Teachers and retain them, leading to consist success and growth in the department over the past three years.

This Geography Teacher / Geography ECT position is suited to a subject specialist in Geography, with competitive offers available for ECTs all the way through to experienced Geography Teachers looking to grow their career and responsibilities. TLR options for an experienced Geography Teacher can include Enrichment Lead, 2iC or a pastoral responsibility such as Head of Year.

  • £42,536 - £60,092 + TLR2B £5800
  • Teaching Geography KS3 - KS5
  • Working as part of a strong Humanities department with 3 other Geography specialists

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION- Geography ECT / Geography Teacher

  • Qualified Geography Teacher with UK QTS
  • Strong subject specialist with a solid academic background
  • Excellent spoken and written English essential
  • Outstanding or Good lesson observations
  • Able to commit full time, 5 days a week, term time only.
