About Us:
Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Maths Teacher at an SEMH School. They will contribute to providing an inclusive, supportive, and inspiring educational environment for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
We are now seeking a dedicated and skilled Maths Teacher to join our team, helping students achieve their full potential and overcome barriers to learning.
The Role:
As an SEMH Maths Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with SEMH challenges.
- Create a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment that fosters student confidence and resilience.
- Develop individualized learning plans, working closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and other specialists.
- Promote positive behavior, emotional regulation, and social skills alongside academic achievement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and staff.
- Contribute to the development of strategies that enhance wellbeing and learning outcomes for students with SEMH needs.
About You:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching Maths at the secondary level.
- Has a strong understanding of SEMH needs and how they impact learning and development.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Is patient, adaptable, and committed to making a difference in the lives of young people.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
