Brent based Secondary School are looking for support staff to support students with learning difficulties, ADHD/ EBD and ASD

  • Daily rate up to £105.00 per day

A unique mainstream school with a SEN unit within a secondary school, based in Wembley, brent is recruiting an SEN learning support assistant.. The successful applicants will join a highly respected and effective team to start as soon as possible.

About the school:

  • Caters for children aged 11 years old to 16 years old
  • In partnership with other special schools that regularly use the training facilities available
  • Outstanding leadership team who encourage in-house career progression
  • All classrooms have computers/interactive whiteboards with appropriate switches, software and internet access.

In order to be considered for this role, the LSA / SEN TA will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Have a qualification equivalent to degree level (ideally psychology or SEN)
  • Have experience working with SEN (desirable)
  • Willingness to undertake group intervention and 1:1 support
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks

You must be a UK resident or hold a full UK visa and be willing to complete a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check.
