The Supply Register is currently working in partnership with Ark Academy to find a Science Teacher to join their team from Janaury 2025. This is a great opportunity to join an ‘Outstanding’ all-through academy specialising in mathematics and citizenship. 

Ark Academy is an all-through school in Wembley Park, set against the backdrop of the iconic Wembley Stadium, with excellent transport links 

Responsibilities

• Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
• Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
• Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
• Plan and teach well structured lessons
• Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
• Make accurate and productive use of assessment
• Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment
• Fulfil wider professional responsibilities

Requirements

• Must be a qualified Science Teacher with QTS
• Must have the Right to Work in the UK
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one
• Must be able to provide a minimum of 2 years’ worth of professional references
