Level 3 Teaching Assistant- Brent

Tradewind London are supporting a two-form entry Brent-based primary school in recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, then following an initial period working on a temporary basis, this role could become permanent, and you may be offered a school contract.

This Level 3 Teaching Assistant will support pupils within the classroom and through small group and 1:1 intervention, ensuring that the needs of all our pupils are met. They are seeking an individual who can work across the primary age range, including the Early Years Foundation Stage so experience in this area would be beneficial. You may also be required to provide emergency cover at short notice if the need arises across the school.

The role will include the following duties:* Delivering one-to-one and small group tuition and interventions* Helping children to overcome any barriers they may experience with their learning* Supporting pupils with medical conditions and undertaking first aid duties* Assisting and supporting teaching and learning for pupils within the classroom.* Creating appropriate resources to support teaching and learning for pupils* Contributing to the school extra-curricular programme

  • Have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
