We are seeking a dedicated Locum Team Manager to lead our Children with Disabilities (CWD) team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference while working within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. About the Role As the CWD Team Manager, you will: Lead and manage a team of experienced social workers and practitioners to provide high-quality services to children with disabilities and their families. Oversee complex casework, ensuring that children's needs are met in line with statutory requirements and best practices. Ensure effective multi-agency collaboration to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people. Monitor and improve team performance through regular supervision, audits, and performance reviews. Be responsible for allocating resources effectively and making sound decisions to safeguard children. Drive continuous improvement within the team, contributing to service development initiatives. Requirements To be successful in this role, you must: Be registered with Social Work England (SWE). Have extensive experience in children's social care, with a strong focus on children with disabilities. Demonstrate excellent leadership skills and experience in managing social work teams. Possess a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Children Act 1989, SEND Code of Practice, and safeguarding protocols. Be a confident decision-maker with the ability to handle complex and sensitive situations effectively.
