Role Overview:
As a Social Housing Maintenance Carpenter, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out carpentry repairs and maintenance work within social housing properties
- Responding to emergency and scheduled maintenance requests from tenants and property managers
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
- Conducting property inspections to identify areas requiring maintenance or repairs
- Collaborating with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, ideally within the social housing or maintenance sector
- A good understanding of general maintenance work, including basic plumbing and plastering (desirable)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Trade qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) is preferred
Job Details:
- Salary: £42k per year - CIS payment
- Location: North West London
- Contract: Temp to perm opportunity
