We are seeking Mainstream Primary SEN Teaching Assistants (SEN TA) to work at a range of schools in Brent. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young learners with special educational needs.

Details of the Mainstream SEN TA role:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably within a primary school setting

As a Mainstream SEN TA you will be required to:

  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to SEN students in the classroom
  • Passion for working with children with special educational needs
  • Assisting the class teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Creating and adapting learning resources to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being among students
  • Collaborating with the SENCO and external specialists to develop effective strategies

As a Mainstream SEN TA within a Primary school in Brent, you will be working closely with students who require additional support. Your role will involve assisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment, tailored to the specific needs of SEN students. You will be patient, empathetic, and understanding of the diverse needs of students with SEN with excellent communication and teamwork skills..
