About Us:

Remedy are looking for a compassionate and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join a team and make a real difference in the lives of our students.

Responsibilities:

- Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, both one-on-one and in small groups.- Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapting resources to meet students' needs.- Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to monitor student progress and provide feedback.- Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.- Assist with personal care needs if required, ensuring the dignity and safety of all students.

Requirements:

- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in an SEN setting.- Strong understanding of various special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.- Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are desirable but not essential.
