The Role:We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools, supporting students in and out of the classroom. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience working with young people who are considering a future career in teaching or education.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide classroom support to students and teachers
- Assist students with their learning, engagement, and personal development
- Support students with additional needs, including SEND and behavioural challenges
- Help to create an inclusive and positive learning environment
- Work closely with teachers and school staff to implement lesson plans and activities
- Background in youth work, mentoring, coaching, or similar roles
- A degree in any subject specialism (preferred but not essential)
- Experience working with SEN or vulnerable children
- Passionate about working with young people and making a difference
- Confident, proactive, and able to build strong relationships with students
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
