TA Required in Wembley- Immediate Start

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistants to join an Ofsted "GOOD" Secondary Provision (KS3 & KS4 - 11 to 16 years old) in the Wembley area, to help support a small group of students who have a range of learning needs. The position is full-time starting immediately.

Details:

  • Salary: 90 per day
  • Location: Northwest London (Wembley)
  • Contract Type: 5 days a week
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Duration: March to June (minimum)

The successful applicants will have:

  • Previous experience working with learning difficulties.
  • Level 5 or above in English and Maths (Grade C or above).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A calm, patient manner and ability to react positively to a fast-changing environment.
  • Ideally experience working with children and/or young people.
  • An Enhanced Child or Child & Adult Workforce barred list DBS Certificate registered on the update service.

Eligibility:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply)
  • Two professional child-related references
