About the Role:Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs? We are looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team across Haringey, Enfield, Barnet, and Brent. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in SEN, SEMH, and PRU schools, where you will play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and more.
  • Assist in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups to deliver targeted support.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to implement individual learning plans (IEPs).
  • Manage challenging behaviors positively and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with SEN students in a school or care setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to managing diverse learning needs.
  • Relevant qualifications in SEN support or a willingness to complete additional training (e.g., Team Teach).
