SANZA Teaching Agency is excited to be recruiting for an EYFS SEND Teacher to work with a small class of children with Autism in a specialist SEN provision in Brent. Job Role:
As an EYFS SEND Teacher, you will be:
- Teaching a small class of children with Autism, using creative and engaging methods tailored to individual learning needs.
- Planning, assessing, and delivering lessons in line with each child's Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).
- Creating a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment that fosters social interaction and personal growth.
- Utilising a creative curriculum, including Music, Drama, and the Arts, to engage students with Autism and enhance their learning experience.
- Developing strategies to promote independence and wellbeing in children with ASD.
- Collaborating with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure the successful delivery of lessons.
- Liaising with parents, carers, and external professionals to provide the best support for each child's individual needs.
Candidate Requirements:
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds QTS and has experience teaching children with special educational needs, particularly Autism.
- Has strong knowledge of ASD and complex needs and is skilled in adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
- Demonstrates a creative and engaging teaching style with a commitment to developing children's social and academic skills.
- Is capable of maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment while managing behaviour effectively.
- Has strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff, and external professionals.
- Is passionate about SEND education and ready to make a real impact on the lives of children with special needs.
