We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive SEN school in Ealing, teaching Year 7 students. This long-term, temporary role is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate individual with a passion for special education to make a significant impact on students’ lives.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver tailored educational activities to Year 7 students with a range of special educational needs.
- Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment that accommodates individual learning styles.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other educational professionals.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, adapting teaching methods to meet their needs and abilities.
- Engage with parents or guardians to discuss their child’s progress and strategies to support learning at home.
- Participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities related to SEN teaching.
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience in special education teaching is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the educational needs of children with SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive education.
