Our client is seeking experienced Machine Operators and Groundworkers to join the Grove Farm HS2 project with EKFB in Wendover. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled operatives with a background in civils, infrastructure, or HS2 projects to contribute to a high-profile development.
Location:
- Wendover
- Working on the Grove Farm HS2 project with EKFB
Scope of Work:
- Operating machinery such as 360 Excavators, Dumpers, and Rollers to assist with site works
- Carrying out groundworks including drainage, ducting, kerbing, and concreting
- Assisting with excavation, backfilling, and general site preparation
- Ensuring work is carried out to a high standard and in compliance with Health & Safety guidelines
- Collaborating with the site team to ensure project deadlines and specifications are met
- Maintaining equipment and reporting any faults or issues
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience working on civils, infrastructure, or HS2 projects (essential)
- Valid CPCS for relevant plant (for Machine Operators)
- Valid CSCS card (essential for Groundworkers)
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures and RAMS
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
- Experience with EKFB processes or HS2 projects is advantageous
Rates & Benefits:
- 20 - 23 per day CIS, depending on experience and qualifications
- Potential for contract extension based on performance
Duration:
- 6 months minimum, with the possibility of extension
Start Date:
- May 2025
