Our client requires an experienced Site Engineer to join the Grove Farm HS2 project with EKFB in Wendover. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a background in civils, infrastructure, or rail projects to contribute to the successful delivery of a major HS2 projects.
Location:
- Wendover
- Working on the Grove Farm HS2 project with EKFB
Scope of Work:
- Setting out and surveying works to ensure compliance with project designs and specifications
- Assisting with quality control and ensuring work meets required standards
- Interpreting technical drawings and providing technical guidance to site teams
- Monitoring progress and ensuring work is completed within the agreed time frame
- Liaising with subcontractors, project managers, and other stakeholders
- Ensuring all works are carried out in line with Health & Safety standards and RAMS
- Keeping accurate site records, reports, and documentation
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience working on HS2, civils, or infrastructure projects (essential)
- Strong knowledge of setting out techniques, GPS equipment, and AutoCAD
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- SSSTS/SMSTS certification is desirable
- Experience with EKFB processes or HS2 projects is advantageous
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Rates & Benefits:
- 350 - 375 per day CIS, depending on experience and qualifications
- Potential for contract extension based on performance
Duration:
- 6 months minimum, with the possibility of extension
Start Date:
- May 2025
