Our client is currently seeking an experienced Lifting Appointed Person with SMSTS and a Crane Operator Ticket for the Grove Farm HS2 project near Wendover. This is a long-term role, requiring a skilled professional with a strong commitment to safety and proven experience in lifting operations on major civil engineering projects.

Key Requirements:

  • Valid Lifting Appointed Person certification
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  • Crane Operator ticket (preferred)
  • Previous experience on large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally within HS2 or similar
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols in line with HS2 standards

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage lifting operations, ensuring safety protocols are rigorously followed
  • Collaborate with site managers, lifting teams, and other personnel to execute project tasks efficiently
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure all lifting activities comply with HS2 regulations and project specifications
