Location: Grove Farm, near Wendover (HS2 Project)
Duration: 70 Weeks
Start Date: Immediate Availability Preferred
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Lifting Appointed Person with SMSTS and a Crane Operator Ticket for the Grove Farm HS2 project near Wendover. This is a long-term role, requiring a skilled professional with a strong commitment to safety and proven experience in lifting operations on major civil engineering projects.
Key Requirements:
- Valid Lifting Appointed Person certification
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- Crane Operator ticket (preferred)
- Previous experience on large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally within HS2 or similar
- Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols in line with HS2 standards
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage lifting operations, ensuring safety protocols are rigorously followed
- Collaborate with site managers, lifting teams, and other personnel to execute project tasks efficiently
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure all lifting activities comply with HS2 regulations and project specifications
