Our client is seeking an experienced Appointed Person to join the Grove Farm HS2 project with EKFB in Wendover. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional with a background in lifting operations, civils, or infrastructure projects to contribute to a high-profile development.
Location:
- Wendover
- Working on the Grove Farm HS2 project with EKFB
Scope of Work:
- Planning and supervising all lifting operations on site
- Preparing and reviewing lift plans in accordance with LOLER and BS 7121 standards
- Ensuring all lifting operations are carried out safely and efficiently
- Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety guidelines
- Liaising with crane operators, lifting teams, and site management to ensure smooth operations
- Inspecting lifting equipment to ensure suitability and compliance with regulations
- Providing technical guidance and ensuring that RAMS are followed correctly
Key Requirements:
- Valid Appointed Person (AP) CPCS (essential)
- Previous experience in planning and supervising lifting operations (essential)
- Strong understanding of LOLER, BS 7121, and lifting regulations
- Ability to develop and approve safe lift plans
- Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and RAMS
- Previous experience working on civils, infrastructure, or HS2 projects is advantageous
Rates & Benefits:
- 28 - 30 per hour CIS, depending on experience and qualifications
- Potential for contract extension based on performance
Duration:
- 6 months minimum, with the possibility of extension
Start Date:
- May 2025
