Internal Sales Coordinator

About the Role

Are you an organised and proactive professional with a strong background in customer service and sales support? We’re recruiting for an Internal Sales Coordinator to join a fast-paced distribution unit in West Bromwich. This role is pivotal in ensuring all sales enquiries are managed efficiently, orders are processed accurately, and high levels of customer service are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the internal sales lead, managing customer enquiries from start to finish.
  • Process and manage sales orders, quotations, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth order progression.
  • Maintain accurate pricing and ensure compliance with procurement processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service via phone and email.
  • Maintain electronic and paper-based filing systems.
  • Support the team with general administrative duties as required.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO9001:2015 standards and company policies.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English (Grade C or above).
  • Strong customer service background.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
  • Experience in a similar sales support/admin role is desirable.
  • A background in manufacturing would be advantageous.

  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
