The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Birmingham area. We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver (CAT C) to join the team on the day shift.
Hours:Monday to Friday, 7am until 5pm.
Pay Rate:14.00 per hour PAYE.
Location:Birmingham, B66
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate
The role:
Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to transport plumbing and pipe supplies.
Deliver palletised and weighted items to customer sites across the UK.
Majority of the time the vehicle is unloaded by forklift on site, however the driver will occasionally assist with manual unloading if required.
Complete necessary paperwork for deliveries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
At least 2 years proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Excellent communication skills.
