What You Will Do:
- Perform accurate project take-offs with a high level of detail, using measuring take-off tools and software for precision.
- Complete budget and full quotations on behalf of clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of architectural and specialist drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Establish connections with subcontractors and specialists, fostering smooth collaboration from enquiry to contract award.
- Proactively chase subcontractors and quotations to advance the tendering process, executing assigned estimating tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- Identify innovative cost-saving solutions and value engineering opportunities to enhance competitiveness and maximize project profitability.
- Maintain clear communication through handling incoming telephone calls, managing messages, or redirections as required.
What You Will Bring:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Estimating, preferably within the Aluminium Rainscreen Systems sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex project requirements.
- Proficiency in using cost estimating software and tools.
- Knowledge of construction industry, fabrication methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy in cost estimation, and effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
