We are looking for Brake Press Setters to work within the manufacturing shop floor.
Person Specification for Brake Press Setter
- Previous Experience as Brake Press Operator/Setter;
- Capable of creating programs
- Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings
- Metal Fabrication experience
- Ability to follow directions and to communicate with all team members
- Ability to work in a fast paced production environment
- Setting and operating amada brake press
- Setting and programming / changing tools / complying with health and safety
Job Description:
- Operation of CNC Press Brake creating varied products
- Working with different types of steel
- Carry out quality check on work
- Ensure a clean, tidy, organised working space
- Applicants should possess the ability to work efficiently
- Able to work on their own initiative
- Must be able to communicate at all levels, and have the ability to work as part of a team
You be required to attend a meet and greet an induction and also a short practical test on the machinery.
Shift Patterns:
Rotating
6-2
2-10
Pay rate: 12.50-14.00
