CNC Press Brake Operative

Full-time, Permanent role.

Hours of work are 39

Sunday - Wednesday 10pm - 6am & Thursday's 10pm - 5am (other shifts may be available)

Hourly pay rate £12.00ph, plus 25% shift allowance. =£15ph

Comton Group are pleased to be recruiting for a Press Brake setter/operator to work out of one of the biggest Manufacturing companies within the Midlands, supplying globally.

For this role, it is essential for the ideal candidate to be able to read drawings, edit programme, set and operate press brake machinery

Roles and responsibilities:

  • setting and operating CNC Press Brake machinery
  • Supporting sales staff with order confirmations and feedback
  • Ensuring production efficiency, problem solving and time planning
  • Working within a team across the company to ensure a smooth and efficient process from start to finish
  • Reading Engineering drawings including 1st & 3rd angle

What we need from you:

  • Previous experience setting and operating Press Brake machinery
  • Experience within a fast paced manufacturing unit
  • Reading and producing technical drawings will be preferable for this role
  • Willingness to learn and progress
