PRESS BRAKE SETTER

MONDAY - FRIDAY:

£13.50 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently looking for a Press Brake Setter on behalf of our client based in West Bromwich.

The Press Brake Operator will be working with a large manufacturing client.

You will be responsible for setting up and operating a press brake machine to bend, form, and shape sheet metal into various components.

Working hours will initially be Monday to Friday,, and the starting hourly rate will be from £13.50, depending on experience.

Press Brake Setters may also be required to occasionally rotate to the shift, which would attract a shift allowance.

Day to Day Duties

Duties of the Press Brake Setter will include, but will not be limited to, the following:

• Set, adjust and operate the press brake machine as required for each job
• Read and interpret drawings
• Perform routine maintenance on press brake machine
• Any other reasonable task as per Manager/Supervisor request

Essential Skills

Applicants for this position must have the following:

• Previous experience as a Press Brake Setter
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience with sheet metal fabrication is desirable but not essential

Training

• Full training on company policies and procedures provided by the client
