About the Company:
Our client is a Birmingham-based, long-established, and highly respected roofing company, renowned for delivering comprehensive roof maintenance and refurbishment packages across the UK. Their services include sheeting, felting, single-ply systems, liquid systems, gutter liners, and remedial repairs.

Working with major contractors on industrial and commercial projects, their portfolio includes sheds, factories, guttering, and schools. Project values range from 1200 to 1 million, covering a variety of scopes nationwide. The Role:
As the Contracts Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the contracts management team to ensure the smooth execution of roofing projects. This is an office-based role with occasional site visits. You'll be responsible for maintaining contract documentation, coordinating resources, and assisting in the preparation of key project materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the administration of contracts and support the contracts management team.

  • Prepare and manage contract documentation, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).

  • Coordinate and track materials orders, delivery schedules, and resource allocation.

  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation.

  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to support project requirements.

  • Support workforce scheduling and logistics for multiple projects.

  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety regulations.

Experience and Skills:

  • Proven experience in a contracts administration role, preferably within the construction or roofing industry.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Knowledge of Health & Safety practices, including RAMS preparation, is an advantage.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
