Based in West Bromwich, this office-based role will be reporting to the Finance Manager and working collaboratively both in a team and across departments. The successful applicant will have a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to, chasing overdue debt, preparing both weekly and monthly debtor reports, posting bank receipts and correctly allocating against invoices, processing new accounts, and assisting with month-end ledger closing processes.

What you will need:

  • Due to the collaborative nature of the company and the need to build strong relationships with stakeholders, it is essential to have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel and experience using Sage 50.
  • Previous experience working as a Credit Controller or in a similar role is essential.
  • Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset to resolve queries and raise discrepancies.
