A leading manufacturing company in West Bromwich is seeking a CAD Designer with a salary range of £25-27K per annum.
The position requires a technical design-related qualification and/or relevant experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities include creating production-ready designs, preparing drawing/document packs, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Candidates with relevant qualifications and skills, including good knowledge of CAD and Microsoft Office, will be considered, including trainees.
The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CAD Designer to join the team of a leading manufacturing company based in West Bromwich. Trainees with relevant qualifications and skills will be considered for the position.

The main duties include:

Creating production-ready designs of the company's full range of products using their suite of design software
Preparing drawing/document packs
Preparing drawing registers and issue sheets to accompany designs
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers
Supporting Estimating, Customer Service & Manufacturing Teams in managing the flow of information through the business

Requirements

Technical design related qualification and/ or experience.
Experience working within a fast paced environment desirable (ideally manufacturing).
Good knowledge of CAD, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Excellent telephone manner / good communication skills
