Based close to Birmingham, this Electrical Maintenance Engineer role offers a salary of up to £47,000 annually.
The Role of Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
You will be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of our automated systems. Working on a 3-shift rotation, your main responsibilities will include:
- Conducting routine maintenance on automated equipment to prevent downtime.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues efficiently.
- Supporting the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with other team members to optimise equipment performance and processes.
Experience and Qualifications:
- A recognised engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in maintaining and repairing automated equipment.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- A proactive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is advantageous.
