An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s leading specialist pharmaceutical/chemical manufacturers, a growing and supportive organisation. The Company have recently undergone an investment program in its West Brom Facility. They are looking to expand their engineering team once again due to increased growth in their market share.

The Role
- Electrical preventative and reactive maintenance work in an industrial environment.
- Statutory inspections.
- Electrical plant installation and modification work in an industrial environment.
- The use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
- The ability to use and interpret equipment drawings, manuals and other technical information to assist with all works.
- Work in accordance with the company safe systems of work and permit to work systems.
- Ideally have a good understanding of ATEX requirements, for the senior role.
The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with an electrical bias, but ideally have some multi-skilled and have fast moving manufacturing experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising site efficiencies. If you have worked on automated process plant machinery, it would be advantageous. Also, able and willing to work on a variety of chemical process manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
