Position Overview: Murray Myers Recruitment are seeking an experienced and qualified Electrical Technician to join an Electrical Department at their lower-tier COMAH facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly skilled electrical engineering team, and we are looking for candidates available for an immediate start.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical preventative and reactive maintenance in an industrial environment.
- Perform electrical plant installation and modification in an industrial setting.
- Carry out statutory inspections.
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems.
- Interpret equipment drawings, manuals, and technical information to assist with all tasks.
- Adhere to company safe systems of work and permit to work systems.
- Understand and apply ATEX requirements (preferred).
Qualifications and Training:
- Minimum RQF level 3 (e.g., City & Guilds level 3) in a practical electrical discipline.
- Recognized electrical apprenticeship (preferred).
- 18th edition electrical wiring regulations (preferred).
- Compex (Ex01-04) & (Ex05-06) qualification (preferred, not essential).
- Training with MEWP’s (preferred).
