This is working a permanent day shift Monday to Friday, and the roles comes with an attractive salary up to £45,000 per annum (DOE).

Previous experience within the Food Manufacturing / Food Packaging industry is preferred.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is either a Production Supervisor looking for the next step into a Management position, or someone who has proven experience in a similar role working alongside the Production Manager and acting as a Production Manager as or when they are away from the business.

What You Will Do:

• Assist senior management in ensuring daily production plans are met efficiently.
• Conduct daily shop floor meetings with production team leaders to streamline processes.
• Generate insightful shift reports for senior management review.
• Resolve production shop floor issues promptly, ensuring smooth operations.
• Issue and collect daily production plans to relevant teams, fostering a culture of accountability.
• Handle shop floor personnel issues and assist with staff disciplinary and grievance matters.

What You Will Bring:

• An enthusiastic and positive approach to challenges.
• Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills.
• Proven leadership experience within the food industry (preferred).
• Strong computer literacy to manage digital reports and production plans.
• A commitment to high standards of hygiene and housekeeping.
