The RoleWe're seeking an experienced CFO with a commercial mindset to join the senior leadership team. Reporting directly to the Executive Chairman, you'll be responsible for institutionalizing best-in-class financial systems and processes while acting as a strategic business partner driving growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop the finance function to support rapid business expansion
- Establish processes for effective cash management and improved working capital
- Implement robust financial controls, reporting and forecasting systems
- Provide commercial insights to drive profitability across the business
- Support strategic growth initiatives including facility expansion and potential acquisitions
- Develop actionable KPI dashboards and business performance metrics
- Maintain relationships with lenders and financial stakeholders
- Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with previous CFO/FD experience
- Strong track record implementing financial systems in growing businesses
- Experience improving working capital management and cash generation
- Commercial acumen with ability to translate financial insights into business actions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in PE-backed businesses is highly advantageous
- Manufacturing or engineering sector experience beneficial
