Sonic Summary

The position is for a multi-skilled engineer with a focus on both electrical and mechanical competencies.
The salary for this role is £52,160, and the shift pattern is 4 on 4 off (days and nights).
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production and process manufacturing equipment.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably in FMCG or GMP settings.
Knowledge of maintenance systems, particularly CMMS, and health and safety practices is also required.

Client

I am working with an exceptional client of mine who is well established and highly regarded within the industry. My client is looking to add strength to the team and require the successful candidate to be both electrically and mechanically competent.

Package

Salary: £52,160

Shift: 4 on 4 off (D&N)

Location: West Midlands

Role

Maintain and repair all production and process manufacturing equipment.
To undertake tasks in line with maintenance requisition requests.
To conduct PPM (planned preventative maintenance) tasks as required.
To prioritise workload in liaison with Engineering Manager, to provide the most effective maintenance service possible thus maximising production output.
Undertake On call duties as & when required by Engineering rota.

Requirements/Experience

Maintenance system skills preferably using electronic maintenance management systems. (CMMS) knowledge would be an advantage
Must be a time-served Mechanical Engineer in a manufacturing/engineering .
Experience ideally gained over a period of 3+ years in FMCG and/or GMP environment
Health and Safety knowledge
