A Handyman / General Tradesman is required on-site for a large steel manufacturing company based in West Bromwich. They are looking to employ an experienced handyman on a permanent basis to help with building, decorating, plumbing and general site maintenance.
You will be responsible for various duties including plastering walls, painting / decorating, plumbing in sinks and toilets, replacing skirting boards and many other handyman duties, both inside and outside of the facility.
Your duties will include;
- Basic repair and maintenance tasks
- Plumbing in sinks and toilets
- Measure and fit skirting
- Plastering, painting and decorating walls
- Driving to collect materials
You will need a driving licence to be considered for this role as you may be required to drive and collect materials during the day.
The role is -
- Working days - 39 hours per week (flexibility required between 6am - 5pm)
- Paying 13.00 - 14.20 per hour
- Permanent contract of employment from day 1
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays & company pension scheme
