A long-established manufacturer is seeking to hire a Maintenance Engineer to strengthen their Maintenance department.
The role involves performing maintenance work according to scheduled processes at their facility in West Brom.
Candidates should have a recognized engineering apprenticeship or a similar qualification and experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
The position requires knowledge of PLCs and robots, as well as the ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.

As Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance work in line with the schedule and processes.

Working from their manufacturing facility in West Brom , the Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

*Planned preventative maintenance

*Mechanical/electrical breakdown cover for all activities on site

*Ability to read and understand both electrical and mechanical drawings

*Knowledge of PLC's

*Knowledge of Robots

The successful candidate should have served a recognised engineering apprenticeship or similar appropriate qualification.
