AÂ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is required for a very well established and stable company.
The role will suit experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineers with at least an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent). Being in a specialist market, training on industry standards and internal requirements will be provided.
The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer position will be a hands on role working in an industrial environment on a variety of equipment such as pumps, gearboxes and mechanical plant. This is a great chance to be part of a well-established & stable, leading specialist manufacturer.Â
The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
* Both preventative and reactive maintenance work in an industrial environment.
* Working on a varied range of equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, seals and pipework etc.
* Project based plant installation/commissioning and modification work.
* Statutory inspections, testing and plant integrity work.
* Using computerised maintenance management systems.
* Work in accordance with the company safe systems of work and permit to work systems.
The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
* Experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer from a Maintenance / Mechanical fitting / engineering background.
* Able to use & interpret equipment drawings, manuals and other technical information.
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
