Our client is a nationally recognised Environmental Consultancy who have a strong presence in the Midlands region and due to continued success are now seeking to take on a Water Treatment / Remedial Engineer. This role would suit someone who has experience working for a reputable Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company looking to expand their knowledge and experience. You will be working on Healthcare, Industrial, Local Authority, Retail, and Leisure sites carrying out various water treatment / remedial duties in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Our client can offer cross training into other environmental sectors, excellent holiday allowance, and enrolment onto company pension scheme.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Will hold the City and Guilds L2 or higher in plumbing.
" Will have experience working hands on as an engineer for an established Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company.
" In depth knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Good IT & literacy skills.
" Good timekeeping skills.

The Role:
" Attending a mixed portfolio of sites to carry out L8 compliance duties in line with ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines.
" Water sampling & temperature monitoring.
" Showerhead descales and disinfections.
" Mains injections.
" Attending site to carry out fault finding, ensuring to rectify issues in a timely manner.
" CWST cleans and disinfections.
" Deadleg removals.
" Removing, installing, and rerouting copper and PVC pipework.
" Flushing of little used outlets.
" TMV installation, servicing and replacements.
" Closed system sampling & analysis.
" Dosing closed systems with correct chemicals.
" Correctly updating onsite logbooks.
" Liaising with clients, providing excellent technical support and advice when required.
