Excellent opportunity for a Waste Manager to join a well-established chemical manufacturer, where you'll be the key player in the management of the waste across their processes.

Established over 150-years ago, this well-established chemical manufacturer have amassed a successful reputation for themselves and they are currently seeking a Waste Manager.

In this role, you'll be ensuring that all packaged process waste, including contaminated containers are stored, managed and disposed of in accordance with UK legislation and EA requirements. You'll also be working with QC and R&D departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency with waste streams, as well as reviewing offsite waste disposal companies to ensure the meet Duty of Care regulations.

THE ROLE:
*Managing the waste across the processes they operate
*Ensure all process waste is stored/managed/disposed to UK legislation
*36.25 hours, Monday to Friday

THE PERSON:
*Chemistry higher education
*Background working in chemical industry/waste management
*Knowledge of Duty of Care Regulations
